9:00am to 5:00pm daily. Instead of partnering with NITA, OCR will be hosting its own trial skills training this year. This training is designed for OCR D&N attorneys with any level of experience. Day 1 is an evidence refresher and will use a reasonable efforts fact pattern. Day 2-3 will allow for the practice of litigation skills in the context of an adjudicatory trial. The program will consist of lectures, faculty demonstrations and plenty of time for skills practice in small groups of 5-8 people. This program is an opportunity to practice skills in a safe, casual setting (low stakes, high reward!). Attendees will be assigned to groups by level of litigation experience in D&N cases.
