This session will cover the nuances of identifying and addressing domestic violence in dependency & neglect cases including: assessing safety, creating effective safety plans, factors to consider when determining the best interest of the child, civil protection orders, parenting plan considerations, and treatment planning. While primarily focused on D&N cases, the session content will also be applicable to domestic relations cases.
