HB19-1316 requires judicial approval pursuant to Title 14-2-108 for youth ages 16-17 seeking a marriage license. As a GAL is now being appointed to these cases, this is a new case type for the attorneys contracting with the OCR. This webinar will provide guidance on the role of the GAL in this case type, legal authority, legal requirements for an independent investigation, guidance on completing the required GAL report, practice tips and considerations, and OCR billing policies.
