This presentation will provide a detailed breakdown of the Child Mental Health Treatment Act (HB 99-1116, CMHTA). Participants will learn how the Act can help children with Medicaid, children without Medicaid, and Child Welfare requirements as outlined in the Act. CMHTA provides a due process for children with Medicaid, a funding resource for children without Medicaid, and mandated communication between child welfare and mental health agencies.
