- We will have coffee and tea in the morning and serve lunch midday.
- Covered parking is available at the Art Garage, adjacent to the Art Studios at 1200 Lincoln Street. Nearby public lots and metered parking available as well. Daily fees apply. We do not validate parking.
May 7th: We welcome Jeff Chapdelaine! Jeff is a defense attorney, civil litigator, consultant, and trial coach. Jeff draws on the disciplines of law, therapy, teaching, and theater to help lawyers and clients tell compelling stories in court. Jeff will spend the day training on client connection and persuasive storytelling in court. Some of you may know Jeff from attending his session at the Trial Ad training for the Office of Alternative Defense Counsel. He also serves as faculty for Massachusetts CLE Criminal Curriculum Advisory Committee and the Committee for Public Counsel Services and serves as national faculty for the National Criminal Defense College, the National Institute for Trial Advocacy, National Association for Public Defense, the Trial Lawyers College, and at other programs. May 8th: What story are you trying to tell for your client and who is the best person to tell that story? Join us for a day on experts and child hearsay! The morning will cover whether or not you need an expert, caseworker as witness (see People Interest of A.F. 2025 COA 76!), and qualifying an expert.
