The webinar will be for both trial court and appellate Counsel for Youth, and it will provide guidance on a variety of appellate topics related to implementation of HB 22-1038 such as:
1) The timeframes involved in appeals cases:
2) Differences between appellate advocacy under a best interest model and a client-directed model; and
3) The roles and responsibilities of Trial Court CFY and Appellate CFY, if different, and the overlap between the two.
