Orientation training for new OCR attorneys and case consultants covers the following topics: the appointment of a GAL/CFY, obligations per the CJD 04-06, OCR policies and procedures, child development, client engagement, stages of a D&N case, stages of a JD case, role of a case consultant, and assessing safety. This training is required for attorneys and case consultants beginning a contract with the OCR in July 2024. Professionals who are interested in GAL/CFY work are welcome to attend as well.
