This Core Competencies training is designed for all OCR attorneys with 1-3 years of experience in the practice. This training is required for new attorneys who will be starting a contract with OCR on or after July 1, 2019, and new attorneys who started a contract with OCR in January 1-June 30, 2019, and have not yet received this training. Non OCR attorneys are welcome to attend as well. The 8:30am to 5:00pm daily training will cover the Role of the GAL, Requirements and Strategies of an Independent Investigation per the CJD, Child and Youth Development, Youth Engagement, Trauma, Sources of Law, Special Issues, Stages of a D&N Proceeding, Stages of a JD Proceeding, Practice Supports Offered by OCR.
Reception: Please join us for a reception at the OCR office following the training on Thursday July 19th from 5:00-6:00pm.
