Challenges of Colorado Youth with Truancy Court Oversight: Translating Insights from Evaluation to Practice

Tara Wass and Diane Fox from Infinite Frontier Consulting will present the results of a longitudinal study conducted in Colorado to assess the underlying mental health needs of youth under court supervision for truancy. What are youth coming to court with? What services are needed and what are the challenges? How can this information inform the GAL’s advocacy? This session will provide data and practice tips to enhance and assist in GAL advocacy in these cases. Attendees will have the opportunity to share their experience, strategies, and local practices.
