El Paso Country GAL Office
The El Paso County Office of the Guardian Ad Litem provides guardian ad litem services to children in El Paso County in dependency and neglect cases and delinquency cases. Our goal is to provide the highest quality legal representation to the children in these cases. The Office is staffed with well-trained, dedicated attorneys and support staff. The senior attorneys have many years of experience representing children and provide valuable mentoring to those attorneys who are newer to this area of practice. The Office has established policies and standards consistent with the Chief Justice Directives and Standards of Practice for guardians ad litem. The Office provides ongoing training for the staff in the areas of juvenile law, child development, treatment issues and other relevant topics. This ensures consistency in the quality of services and a high degree of accountability and professionalism.
